To all the degenerate gamblers, this post's for you.

GAMBLING

First let's make something clear. Don't use my picks as financial advice. I have no money to be sued anyways. Like you, I like to gamble a bit. And unlike all the twitter gurus that make you pay for their picks, mine are free. Does that mean the picks suck because you don't have to pay for them? Probably. But I'm going to keep my record at the top of this page every week so you know whether to fade me or ride a hot streak. I've been waiting veryyy patiently since march madness for this moment. If you bet MLB I actually feel sorry for you. Alright I've made you wait long enough, let's get into these pics. (The tables are really small. I'm sorry but it's the only way it will fit on mobile.)

Last Week's Record: 0-0

Total Record: 0-0

Notre Dame VS Navy

Notre Dame will have a much more lethal offense than last year. They also have had all off-season to prepare for navy instead of the typical one week. Last time these two played in Ireland the score was 50-7. Take Notre Dame -20.5

With the new clock rules and the offense Navy runs, I don't see that many points being scored in this game. Not only that, but Navy has a pretty pitiful offense to begin with. I like Under 50.5 in this one. Check out the data below.

UMass @ New Mexico State

UMass comes in as THE WORST FBS team in my rankings. I can not in good conscious cheer for this abomination of a program. If we're being honest though, New Mexico State isn't much better. This is a complete sickos game. That's why I'm betting on it. Give me New Mexico State -9.5.

UTEP @ Jacksonville State

Florida boys get the dub. Oh wait...Jacksonville State isn't in Florida? Where is it then? ALABAMA!? Well they love football and UTEP practices on sand. Welcome to the FBS Jacksonville State. I'll take em -110 ML because why not. Also I have no data on Jacksonville State but just know UTEP is 124 with an offensive rating of 0 and a defensive rating of 0.2.

Ohio @ San Diego State

In all honesty, this is the game of the week. If you want to watch some competitive football this weekend, this is the game for you. These teams are polar opposites, which makes sense because San Diego is about as different from Athens, Ohio as you can get. What should you take in this game? I've got two pics for you. Under 49.5 seems like pretty good value to me. San Diego State has a really good defense and I'm not sure the offense will put up many points for either team. If a team does score a lot of points, it's going to be Ohio. Which is why I'm taking them to win the game +114 ML. Roll Bobcats. (Yes I'm picking against my own computer rankings)

FIU @ Louisiana Tech

I don't know much about either of these teams. What I do know though is that my rankings system doesn't like FIU very much. Because of that, I'm gonna take Louisiana Tech -11.

San Jose State @ USC

This one is kinda weird. I have zero faith in the USC defense, but I'm also hesitant to bet that there will be more than 10 touchdowns in this game. For that reason, I'm gonna go with San Jose State Over 2.5 Team Touchdowns. The talent gap is pretty significant. Hopefully the Spartans can sneak one in at the end of the game. Very tempted to take USC spread but I wanna see them in action first. On paper it should be a blowout, but you know, week 0 shenanigans.

Hawaii @ Vanderbilt

And the last game of week 0 is a classic Vanderbilt Hawaii matchup. I have a hard time seeing Hawaii keep this one close. They have to travel extremely far just to get their ass kicked. Take Hawaii Under 18.5 Points. Clark Lea ran a fantastic defense at Notre Dame, I expect him to continue that tradition.
