Last Week's Record: 5-5

Total Record: 5-5

Last week was disappointing. 5-5 doesn't cut it around here. This week, we need to lock in and do better. No excuses. There's plenty of opportunity to beat Vegas. Let's get into it!

Saturday, September 7th

Akron @ Rutgers - Rutgers -23.5 (-125)

Rutgers has improved significantly in the past couple of years. This is a team that handled business week one and I expect them to do that again this week. This game should end before the rain starts, that will give Rutgers plenty of time to jump out to a big lead. Akron has a rough start playing two former Big Ten East teams back to back.

Pitt @ Cincinnati - Pitt ML (+110)

Cincinnati struggled against a terrible Towson team last week. They struggle again today and fall short to one of the better teams in the ACC.

Iowa State @ Iowa - Iowa ML (-135)

Iowa actually has an offense, it's a miracle! They shut out Illinois State 40-0 last week. Both sides of the ball are clicking out of the gate. Iowa State had a closer game against North Dakota. If it was one of the Dakota State teams I'd give them a pass but that's a pretty mediocre performance. Iowa wins it at home.

South Carolina @ Kentucky - Kentucky ML (-345)

This is kind of cheating but put it in your parlay. Kentucky at home should easily handle South Carolina. Kentucky has an impressive performance against Southern Miss last week. On the other hand, South Carolina struggled with their Sun Belt opener against Old Dominion. Kentucky at home is winning this one.

Marshall @ Virginia Tech - Marshall +21.5 (-133)

Virginia Tech really let me down last week. These guys cost me a lot of money losing to a bad Vanderbilt team. I watched the entire game and was disgusted with this Virginia Tech team. Many were hyping them up as contenders in the ACC this year. I think they're bottom feeders. And they're on upset alert against a good Marshall team.

Tennessee @ NC State - Tennessee -9.5 (-111)

Tennessee is on a different level than NC State. I have no clue why this spread is so close but the Vols are gonna punish the Wolf Pack.

Houston @ Oklahoma - Oklahoma -27.5 (-112)

Oklahoma put up impressive numbers in their opener last week. This Houston team is bad. Blowout in this game, take Oklahoma spread.

Colorado @ Nebraska - Nebraska ML (-230)

Oh Colorado. What happened to your swag? They have one of the best players in the country in Travis Hunter. Out outside of the coaches kids, this team is a bunch of Chinese rip offs. They promised Louis V when in reality this team is a bunch of Temu. Nebraska puts the breaks on Colorado in front of a rowdy crowd.

Boise State @ Oregon - Boise State +21.5 (-153)

Oregon is still a good team. Vegas knows this and that's why they're spotting them 19.5 points on the spread. I think that is a little high. Oregon is still working out some chemistry issues to start their season. I think this team is going to be great at the end of the year, but they're not good enough to beat a good Boise team by more than 3 touchdowns.

SUPER DOG

I really only had 9 picks this week so I'm gonna pick an upset for the last one.

Idaho @ Wyoming - Idaho ML (+250)

Idaho put up a great fight last week against Oregon. While that game was a little further off than the score said, they still competed with a very talented team. Wyoming doesn't have Josh Allen roaming the field anymore. Idaho takes this one.
