Last Week's Record: 7-3

Super Dog Record: 0-1

Total Record: 19-11

Super Dog Total Record: 1-1

Yeah I know, I missed last week. And it's a bummer too because my picks did pretty well. But regardless we stand at 19-11 for the year. After a rough start we've been doing pretty good. Let's keep up the momentum this week. It's cold and windy for most of the country, maybe it's even raining. But maybe these picks can shine some light on your day.

Saturday, September 14th

Minnesota @ Michigan - Under 35.5 (-128)

Like I said above, it's a cold, windy, and rainy day for most of the country. Michigan loves low scoring games, but 10.5 isn't great value. Under 35.5 seems like a good compromise. They're gonna run the ball and that defense will be stingy against Minnesota.

Maryland @ Indiana - Indiana -6.5 (-128)

Another game with rain in the forecast I'm a bit worried about this one. Indiana's passing game has been on fire, but how does it fare in the elements. I think Indiana is a much better team than Maryland but the weather will play a factor in this game. If it was sunny I'd take Indiana by 21 but they should be able to cover 7 here.

Oklahoma State @ Kansas State - Oklahoma State +7.5 (-155)

Oklahoma State is a good football team. In my opinion Kansas State isn't. They got exposed last week having no passing game. Oklahoma State could win this outright, but I feel good about them covering 7.

Ball State @ James Madison - James Madison -20.5 (-136)

JMU put up 70 last week. They'll blitz a bad Ball State team this week.

Wisconsin @ USC - USC -13.5 (-132)

USC has a lot of firepower and I believe Wisconsin is now missing their starting quarterback. They bounce back this week after losing their Big 10 opener against Michigan.

Colorado @ UCF - Colorado +14.5 (-130)

Honestly before yesterday I was a little less sure about this one. But Miami doesn't seem to be the world beaters I thought they were. Colorado has fantastic playmakers and they aren't going against a particularly stout defensive line. They'll keep it close, if not for a win outright.

Iowa State @ Houston - Iowa State -16 (-108)

I got this early in the week at much better value, but I still think Iowa State blows out this Houston squad. I've been pleasantly surprised by this Iowa State team, and I think they'll have another strong week.

Georgia @ Alabama - Alabama ML (-105)

The big game of the week, Georgia and Alabama. At home, with Milroe, I'm taking the tide. Carson Beck does not seem like one of the top quarterbacks in the country. And I'm not a big believer that Georgia is gonna keep Alabama out of the endzone. Georgia will have to play much better on offense than they did at Kentucky to keep it close.

Washington State @ Boise State - Washington State +7.5 (-138)

Honestly, Washington State is a weird team. They can score a lot of points but have close games almost every week. I think they continue that trend today. Washington State keeps it within 7 against Boise State.

Oklahoma @ Auburn - Oklahoma ML (-105)

I saved this one for last because I needed 10 picks and I don't feel super confident about anything else. But I think Oklahoma gets the win here. Last week they showed more fight than I thought against an explosive Tennessee squad. Auburn hasn't impressed me so I'll go with the sooners to get their first SEC win.

SUPER DOG

Arkansas @ Texas A&M - Arkansas ML (+180)

This isn't a super dog but Texas A&M is almost favored by a touchdown. I think Arkansas has a lot of firepower and definitely has the ability to win this game. My last super dog was +425 so I'm fine with putting a +180 here this week.
